This study investigates the minimum dosage of exogenous estradiol and/or exogenous progesterone that results to anovulation. An administration of constant dosage and nonconstant dosage are considered.
Optimal control theory is employed to minimize the dosage and identify the optimal timing exogenous hormone administration.
The results may give clinicians insights to improve dosing strategies in ovulation suppression.
