Recap: ModApp Seminar with Prof. Stacey Smith?

We recently wrapped up an insightful two-day seminar series hosted by the Modelling and Applications (ModApp) Group!

Last January 20 and 21, we were privileged to host Professor Stacey Smith? from the University of Ottawa for a back-to-back session on the power of mathematics and the art of communication.

Day 1: An engaging exploration of Mathematical Modelling, where we delved into infectious disease dynamics and the critical role of math in public health strategies.

Day 2: A deep dive into Scientific Writing, providing our graduate students and faculty with invaluable tips for navigating the world of academic publishing.
