Last October 9, 2024 at MB 300, the Modeling and Applications Group conducted the second Journal Club Presentation. Mr. Dave Palen, a Phd Math student under the advisory of Dr. de Los Reyes V of the ModApp Group, successfully presented a paper titled “Predicting Fish Kills and Toxic Blooms in an Intensive Mariculture Site in the Philippines Using a Machine Learning Model.” The presentation highlighted key findings from the research and sparked engaging discussions among the attendees.
