ModApp at IWOMB 2026: Spicing Up Mathematical Biology

ModApp members recently traveled to Iloilo City for the 8th International Workshop on Mathematical Biology (IWOMB 2026). The IWOMB is a premier gathering that bridges the gap between mathematics and the life sciences. Hosted at West Visayas State University, this year’s workshop brought a unique flavor to the scientific community, blending mathematical modeling with the rich heritage of the Philippines' first UNESCO "City of Gastronomy."
