Dr. Carlene Arceo, Dr. Aurelio de Los Reyes V, and Dr. Bryan Hernandez from the Mod App Group actively took part in the recent Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) Annual Convention at the University of the Philippines Tacloban College from May 31 to June 2, 2024. This esteemed gathering brought together mathematicians, educators, researchers, and students from all over the country to exchange the latest progress in mathematical research, education, and applications. The event featured lectures, talks, as well as oral and poster presentations. Among the attendees, Mr. Mark Lois P. Fortin, an advisee of Dr. Gervy Marie Angeles, also from the Mod App Group, received the award for the best Poster presentation in the undergraduate category for his research titled "Local Stability of Reaction-Diffusion Prey-Predator Model with Prey Refuge and Prey Infection."
